Visa
The first step is to get your visa if you haven’t done so already. Apply to your local Indian consulate and for most places this will take a week but can be done in some cases the same day.

You will need to show a reserved ticket to apply (not a purchased one), which is easy to obtain.

This will be both the residence and the location of the actual Suhba lectures. Do not contact the hotel for reservations as it will only cause confusion. Please see below to confirm your reservation to ensure you are part of the group.
Dates and Times
The Suhba will commence Thursday evening, February 9 and finish Sunday afternoon, February 12, insha Allah. Please arrive on February 9 and depart on the evening of February 12 or early morning of February 13. Like most other hotels, check-in is at 3pm and checkout is at noon. Early check-in and late checkout will be based on availability within reason.
Insha Allah, there will be a pre-Suhba trip with Sheikh Nuh to visit the maqam of Khwaja Bande Nawaz in Gulbarga departing Wednesday morning and returning the same day.
Children
No children will be allowed on the floor of the lectures during the lecture times or to any of the maqam trips.
Costs
The cost per participant is $450 USD per person based on double occupancy and this price allows 4 days/ 3 nights stay (Arrival: Thursday, February 9; Departure: Sunday, February 12). This includes airport transfer both ways, hotel stay, and three meals a day. Each additional day you need to stay will cost $80.
The pre-Suhba trip will cost an additional $120 if you arrive on Wednesday before the trip ($40 for the trip plus $80 for the additional day) or $200 if you arrive on Tuesday before the trip ($40 for the trip plus $160 for the additional two days).
Note that we booked the entire hotel to ourselves but if we are still short on space we may ask for volunteers to stay three per room and they will be given a marginal discount.
Airline Tickets
It is recommended that your point of entry into India is The Hyderabad International Airport (HYD) avoiding domestic flights in India. Many airlines fly directly into Hyderabad including Air Arabia, Air India, British Airways, Emirates, Etihad, Fly Dubai, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, and others.
Payment
Please pay your Suhba fee in cash upon arrival in USD.
